Gujarat is a birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi "The Father of The Nation". He was born at Porbandar , in 1869.Gujarat shares a border with Pakistan and lies away in the northwestern seaboard of India. It's a holy city where famour Hindu God, Krishna set up his capital at Dwarka.
Gujarat is a home to people of varied races and religions, shell of ancient cities and the finest wildlife sanctuaries of the country.
In Gujarat we can see Asiatic Lion in Sasan Gir National Park and huge number of flamingos, pelicans, avocets and herd of wild asses in the Rann of Kutch.At Lothal and Dholavira 4000 yrs old archaeological sites. The 3rd Century BC spread the message of Buddha and Hindu and Jain pilgrim centers at Dwarka, Somnath and Palitana and many beautiful monuments, mosques and the oldest holy fire of the Parsi Community in India at Udvada.
